Was the First Pop Stan Just Elected to Congress by Gen Z?

Maxwell Frost supports access to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, universal healthcare, and Harry Styles as our Lord and Savior.

The fact that Republicans failed to generate a crimson wave on election night on Tuesday or the fact that Florida just elected a certified Harry Styles fan to the House of Representatives are both shocking. Beto O’Rourke did not relocate to a different state. Maxwell Frost deserves the honour. The former national organising director of March for Our Lives, who ran on a platform of gun control, Medicare for All, and combating climate change, was elected to Congress on Tuesday night. What’s more relatable, though? His devotion to and vociferous advocacy for everything pop music, particularly some of its biggest icons

Following Frost’s triumph, a few of Frost’s previous tweets started to appear again. Photographs from a 2014 post show that Frost was a fan of Harry Styles long before his solo career, most notably when he had his greatest hair.
Frost’s Gen Z devotion to pop music is further demonstrated by earlier tweets on Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and One Direction (again). The newly elected congressmen are just like us, right?
