Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Liberace, and Cyndi Lauper will all make their Young Rock season 3 debuts.

Making a TV programme depicting Dwayne Johnson’s life always leads to cameo appearances from famous people. The actor is followed in NBC’s Early Rock from boyhood through young adulthood and into his fictitious presidential campaign in 2032. Along the way, he encounters several well-known figures, including fictional versions of André the Giant, Randy Savage, and Vince McMahon.

EW has the first look at some of the recognisable faces that will appear in Season 3, which will premiere on November 4. Young Johnson (played by Adrian Groulx) joins his father Rocky (Joseph Lee Anderson) at a WWF party in the 1980s, where they run into a variety of famous people. This is seen in the season 3 opener.

The first is Cyndi Lauper, a legendary musician who is portrayed by real-life WWE Superstar Becky Lynch (a.k.a. Rebecca Quin). After the inaugural WrestleMania, the young Johnson runs into Lauper at a premiere party. Lauper and the WWF were notably partners for the music video for her song “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough.”

Legendary wrestlers Mr. T (Jason Jenkins) and Hulk Hogan (Brock O’Hurn), as well as musician and former WrestleMania timekeeper Liberace, appear at the star-studded event (Peter Gardner).

Young Rock season 3 was previously hinted at by the show’s creators, Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. They stated that the season would examine both the effects of Johnson’s election loss and his early forays into professional wrestling, including his illustrious heel turn and rebranding as “The Rock.”

Khan previously told EW, “The fun aspect for me is that there’s nothing that’s too over the top when it comes to the wrestling.” “It’s so exciting and wild. The egos are simply enormous.”

Chiang laughed as he continued, “It’s fun to watch these performers truly get into becoming wrestlers. When men are acting like wrestlers, “you never see males care more about their physique.”
