Chrissy Teigen has stated that Thanksgiving is her favourite holiday, and despite the fact that she is expecting a child, she nevertheless prepared a substantial meal for her family this year. She and her husband John Legend uploaded pictures and videos to Instagram from their celebrations, including the precious moment their children, Miles, 4, and Luna, 6, put the wishbone together.
Teigen’s mother, Pepper, joined Luna and Miles in the celebration of Thanksgiving with the family. The cookbook author posted a picture of herself, her mother, and the kids all seated on a couch in their finest holiday attire in her first carousel of Thanksgiving pictures. Another picture showed Luna and Legend cuddling, while another showed a pregnant Teigen appearing to take a break after sharing her Christmas preparation progress on Instagram Stories. She added the message “” along with a group of appropriate fall-themed emojis.
In Teigen’s second post, she included a photo of the family’s Thanksgiving dinner table, which was piled high with foods like mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts, as well as a clip of Legend determining if the turkey was done. She also uploaded a video of Miles charmingly saying, “I broke it,” as Luna and Miles pulled on the wishbone.
Last but not least, Legend shared a heartwarming memory from the family’s Thanksgiving on Instagram, involving Teigen beaming as she sautéed some mushrooms and Luna enjoying cuddles from both of her parents. He wrote “Fammmm ” as the photo captions.
Thanksgiving is undoubtedly a huge occasion in the Teigen-Legend household, and this year’s celebrations were especially memorable because the family is getting ready for the birth of their new child. Teigen and Legend shared their joyful news on Instagram in August along with an acknowledgment of the miscarriage they suffered in 2020.
The comment Teigen added to the photo said, “[T]he previous several years have been, to put it mildly, a jumble of emotions, but joy has entered our house and hearts again.” “After a billion injections (mostly in the leg lately, as you can see! ), we are expecting another. Every time I have my appointment, I tell myself, “Ok, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,” but then I hear a heartbeat and decide I’m still too afraid. I doubt I’ll ever leave a meeting feeling more thrilled than anxious, but thus far, everything is lovely and flawless, and I’m filled with optimism and amazement.”
